JRiver
« on: May 13, 2017, 03:15:40 pm »

I am new to JRiver, and purchased this morning.

My Mac Mini is connected to my stereo via an Ethernet cable.  (I have a device (a microrendu) which converts the Ethernet cable signal to a USB signal which then goes into my DAC, but in any event the Ethernet output from the Mac Mini works fine using an audio application that is not JRiver.)

Currently, I know the DVD is playing via JRiver because I can hear the music come out of the speakers of the Mac Mini.  But I don't want it to come out of the Mac Mini's speakers at all, I only want the audio leaving my computer via the Ethernet out, if possible.

How do I get JRiver to output to the Ethernet out on my computer?

Thanks!

If your ethernet is picked up as an audio device on your mac, you should be able to route MC to it using Tools > Options > Audio > Audio Device.

BTW - You may wish to change your thread name to something more descriptive, so people can actually see what you're after.
