Why I am getting "APE" Files / Media Center Files when I want FLAC
« on: September 10, 2017, 09:07:23 pm »

Hi,

When ripping discs on my windows PC even though I specify file type as "FLAC" in JRiver, files are saved as "APE" or "Media Center File."

OS is Windows 10.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Alex

In MC's Options go to Encoding > change the encoder to FLAC (and setup your encoder settings there too if desired).

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.
