Linking zones - playback out of sync

I've got 2 zones.

Zone 1. iMac running JRiver 23, USB DAC, Stereo Amp, Speakers
Zone 2. Denon AV Receiver connected through LAN DNLA.

I'm able to link these two zones using JRemote.

But they're not in sync. A second or so between them.

Anything I can do to fix this?

Oh, this is going to start something. A search would show a long history of this topic.

The short answer, I believe, is still no.

The JRMark score of the PC with an issue:    JRMark (version 26.0.52 64 bit): 3419
Important relevant info about your environment:     
  Using the HTPC as a MC Server & a Workstation as a MC Client plus some DLNA clients.
  Running JRiver for Android, JRemote2, Gizmo, & MO 4Media on a Sony Xperia XZ Premium Android 9.
  Playing video out to a Sony 65" TV connected via HDMI, playing digital audio out via motherboard sound card, PCIe TV tuner

Oh, that's a shame. As always it's never straight forward is it.

I did do a search but couldn't find anything relevant.

What about two DNLA enabled devices. Would they play in sync?

V24 now does proper zone sync between MC devices, but you may still have trouble with the AV receiver...
