Playback stopped - "Track Info" empty?
« on: June 16, 2003, 05:33:49 am »

At present, when playback of MC is stopped, the upper pane where "Track Info", "Visualizations" or "Image" is shown is set to an empty white nothing...

What about showing a "stopped.htm" (that maybe placed in every "Track Info" folder) instead? Users would then be able to customize the look ... just to make MC a little bit more beautiful in every state...  ;)

Come on folks - I can not believe that you like it more to stare at a white space than looking at a picture of your favorite ... boyfriend? girlfriend? pet? motor cycle? tomato truck?

There could be even an advantageous picture of your mother, combined with a bubble that says: "Dear, you promised to get out the trash already two hours ago!"

No need for that out there ?  ;D

If you browse to your "\Media Center\Data\Default Art" directory, and replace the file logo.gif with a picture of your choice it will do what you suggest. It will also use this image for any files with no associated coverart though.

Mmh, I always changed the "logo.gif" since I'm using MJ7.2 - I was scared by the ugly (please JRiver, forgive me, please) surfboard jukebox after every update  ;)
The new "playbutton" logo that replaced the surfboard is much better...

But what I'm talking about is what is shown when playback is ***stopped*** (Nothing!). This not only happens when you press the stop button ...

But OK, I promise not to nag anymore, and for normal purpose I will learn to use the pause button.  :'(
