Most of my 9.0 Smartlists (which I use often) had a 'Year' rule, they all became useless with 9.1. I see the Date (year), etc. functions which are great, but they aren't offered as 'Rule' or 'Modifier' that I can see with 9.1 so I can't recreate the Smartlists I want. Is this fix coming or am I missing something?
Otherwise I think 9.1 looks great. Thanks...

You can actually enter Date (year) manually as an option if you enter it like this [DATE (year)]. I had to do this to rename my files as I use the form ARTIST/YEAR ALBUM for the folder structure and this worked fine...

Please let us access [date(Year)] still by [year] as year is a default name and value for mp3's tags.

It shouldn't interfere with anything else by doing this.

If I don't change my mp3's [YEAR] tag to include the month and the date also, then MC only uses the year in the tree. The month and date are "unassigned"

Is this right or am I missing something obvious here?

(I'm thinking, "that's gonna be some job finding and entering the correct release dates for all my albums")
