No Resume from Bookmark option
« on: June 19, 2018, 11:00:54 am »

I'm currently on MC 24.0.30 64 bit.

When I recently selected a movie to watch which had a bookmark set from a previous viewing, the playback started immediately from the bookmark rather than giving me the option window (Theater View) to Resume or Start from beginning. This is consistent across all my stored movies that I tried watching.

In Options/Behavior/Resume playing using bookmarks the choice is set to Ask.

Did this behavior change in one of the recent updates? Am I missing some other obscure setting? Always in the past I've gotten the option window in these situations.

Is it possible you've done something to set the program into error free mode?

Visit this in a web browser to turn that off:
http://localhost:52199/MCWS/v1/Configuration/ErrorFreeMode?ErrorFree=0

Otherwise I'm not sure because the dialogs pop up correctly for me.

Thanks Matt, that corrected the problem.
As I don't even know what error free mode is, any ideas of what might have set it to 1?

There were a few builds where it could set it automatically.  I bet that's what happened.  Once it's set it saves to the registry so it stays that way.

Anyway, glad it's solved.
