Both the new JR 24 WDM driver and the 23 version seem to indicate that they are 16 bit/2 channel when I look in Sounds in the Win 10 control panel. Is this correct or am I missing a setting somewhere? Is there a performance penalty for 16 bit vs 24 bit? I specifically use the WDM driver for conducting REW measurements.
Also I have a MCH system, so am I missing a piece of the puzzle since I am only seeing 2 channel in the control panel. In reality I have no trouble making MCH measurements by using the move function in JRiver.
