How to optimize config of music on removable media
« on: July 30, 2018, 10:34:55 pm »

This is a rookie question.  I am new to MC and want to store audio content on an SD card that music can be shared between my system of record PC and my travel PC.  Should I (and can I) install all aspects of MC on the SD card?  This would seem to be the easiest solution if it would work.  The alternative is installing MC on the C:drive of both machines and then making decisions about how to configure the SD cards so it can be moved from one machine to another without generating problems.  I'm having a little success with this approach but am getting hung upon how to keep all the systems synced if I load music from more than one PC.  Is there a logical place to look for advice on this?  If not has anyone done this and willing to provide some guidance.

Welcome to the forum.  You can do a "portable" install.

You could just install MC (standard install) on both.
