I am new to JRiver and don't understand how this works.

My music computer runs windows10 with the JRiver software.

So I can control the jriver software on my computer using my I pad?

How does it talk? Wifi, Bluetooth?

For iOS devices, the JRemote app is an example of a remote that you can use to control MC. Or you can use Panel from a web browser to control MC that way. These wiki topics should help.
