error tagging
« on: March 07, 2019, 03:28:34 am »

I get an error message on updating tags from library. But only on some files. They are flac files but with other flac files it is working all files have can be written I don't see why some are having and others not:
Media Center encountered errors while tagging or moving files. Check that the files exist, are not read-only, and are not in use by other programs.

Tagging error: M:\t-tunes\Casate conmigo 86793_TT.flac

Any idea?

did you check that the file is not read only, in use, and exists?

it could be a corrupt file, can you play it?

Does it work if you rename or move the file?

Something like this was mentioned as of late and it might be related to a Windows update.

Yes, I can move or rename the file...

I tried to do the job with foobar... no problem.
Then updating library (from tags) updated the library fields from the tags which where changed by foobar.
Then trying to update tags (from library) and I get the error message again....
