I have subscribed to OD2 service in the UK which gives me WMA files to download and play on one computer. These are re-licensed every month or so by connecting with OD2. This process works fine with Windows Media Player but with MC a browser window opens up and is filled with chacters and a dialogue Error Playback Engine Required.

Does MC work with secure WMA files? Shame that after buying MC I have to move back to Microsoft.

MC does play secure WM files.

Make sure your version of MC is current.

Thanks. Yes I have the most recent version. And yes MC does PLAY the files but it won't update the licenses correctly which needs to be done roughly every month. An error message occurs when it trys to relicense the track. Windows Media player does this fine.

Any ideas?
