media update after MJ8-to-MC9

I fully expected to search&find this problem but could not.

I have just updated 2 of my computers from MJ8 to MC9, and the 2nd computer (which essentially only connects to the media server running on the 1st computer and has no library per se) hangs on running MC for the first time ... wanting to update the library.  It shows the "busy dialog box" which indicates "upgrading file info 1 of 56", and simply stays busy.  I have no idea what's going on or how to avoid this library update which shouldn't be needed.  Please advise   :-[

(I'd include the computer & MC info if I could get past starting MC ...<g>...)

Try letting it go for a while.

If that doesn't work, delete the library files (jmd files in the MC program folder/data).  See the thread on "Switching ..." here: www.mediajukebox.com/license .

 It didn't want to quit ... still on the "1st of 56" for 15+ minutes.  I believe I fooled it similar to your instructions.
