Have library in triplicate
« on: August 22, 2019, 02:48:39 pm »

Had to reinstall Win 10 and so had to reinstall MC 25.    Problem is that under AUDIO all of my albums are listed three times; once from G drive and the other two from Drives H and I which are my two backups of the entire library.   Cannot figure out how to fix this.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

MC was probably trying to be helpful and scanned your system on install.  You have two easy options:

1. Restore a MC Library backup.  Google "restore jriver library".

2. Just delete from the library all the files you don't want, based on the drive they are on.

In both cases, you'll need to ensure your drive mappings are the same as they were before, and if you use auto import, configure it so that it is only watching the directories where you keep you main media files, not the backup directories.

Option 1 is probably best, as it will put your MC settings back to the way it was before, as long as you elect to restore settings when prompted during the restore process.

Good luck!
