Problem with playlists
« on: July 05, 2019, 05:17:40 am »

I am running MC25 on my work laptop (Win10) which in turn uses the main library of another networked computer (win 10) also running MC25 (with the music files stored on a synology NAS). I have set up a number on playlists on the work laptop which play fine using the remote server. However when I close down MC on the laptop and then log on again, the playlists have disappeared and are not saved either on the laptop or the server PC.

Any suggestions as to why and how I can get the playlists saved somewhere? Are the playlists in fact linked somehow to the server instance? I set up a playlist on the server instance which I can now view from the laptop - can I do this the other way around and set up a playlist on the laptop that gets saved to the server instance? Apols if all a bit vague but have to say I am a bit confused.

Thanks for any assistance.

You may need to turn on authentication on the server, so you have to log in to it.
