Is it possible to allow external playlists to be kept up to date from within media center?
I have some playlists that were created in Media Center that I export into an external .m3u file.
I can then copy these playlists (with a little path renaming to make the paths relative) onto my phone (for example) and use them there as well.
Since these exported playlists are in the root of my main music collection at home they correctly appear as imported playlists in media center but when I make changes (add a song for example) the external playlist file is not updated.
Instead the playlist is amended in JRiver only.
I would love to have my playlists in the one place rather than having some within the media center db and some external as well. I have previously lost some of my wife's playlists when I re-installed Media Center in the past. This would avoid that.
Any help would be appreciated or let me know if this request makes no sense!
