Hi,
I tried posting in the Showtime thread, but I don't see any responses to previous posts in there.  I figured no one was monitoring it.

I want to add trailers to my "Showtime" setup.

Right now I have it play a video showing the theater name, then it plays a 'coming soon' video.

After this coming soon video, I want to play trailers from movies in my library.  Any 3 trailers, randomly.  In addition, if I can mark videos as 'kids' using a tag, can I also only play specific trailers for kids?

How can I do that?

Here is my setup so far:
1:[TheaterVideo]=[[TheaterVideo Play]]  --- I only have 1 of these videos, so if there is a better way, I'm all for it.

1:[ComingSoon]=[[Coming Soon Play]]  --- I only have 1 of these videos, so if there is a better way, I'm all for it.

3:[Trailer]=[[ ? ]] --- Stuck here.  Pick any 3 random and also if the movie I'm playing is for 'kids', play kid friendly trailers.  I guess using another tag?

1:[Audio Code]=[[Audio Codex Play]] --- Thanks to another forum member, this works really nicely.

If you just want to pick any trailer, I would think this would work:
3:-[Trailer]=[]

We had imagined filling "Pre-Show" with "Trailer" when we made the stock rules.

Thanks!  But it looks like it is randomly selecting 3 videos and playing them in full, not playing the trailer.

Here are my rules:
1:[ComingSoon]=[]
3:[Trailer]=[]
1:[Audio Code]=[[Audio Codex Play]]
1:[TheaterVideo]=[[TheaterVideo Play]]

If you always want to play a 'coming soon' video, is there a way to put that into the rules w/o creating a new tag?

So before the trailers, I just want to do a 'coming soon' video, every time.

For anyone looking at how to do something similar, I just ended up doing the same thing for trailers (downloaded) as the codec above.

Can you explain what these rules do?
I'm not familiar with the double brackets.
Do these require custom tagging?
