26.0.16: Not Importing DVD/BD dumps
« on: January 16, 2020, 04:31:57 pm »

Tried on a fresh install of Linux multiple flavors (Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Raspbian).  Source files are on a NAS share that I'm NFS mounting to the linux server.

On import all "files" are imported in the files and anything video related is added to Movies.  Movie and file listing is of the raw individual files and not grouped/contained like on Windows.

I use the same NAS but CIFS mounted on Windows and everything is good...

ISOs? If so, if I recall correctly (and unless I'm mistaken) I think those are supported on Windows only (because playback of ISOs uses a Windows-only component).

No straight raw dumps.  Some from dvd rip from Windows MC, some from MyMovies and some from direct AnyDVD.

Does nobody else use MC on Linux for full movie rips or is everyone else using MKV's only?

MKV's import and list perfectly fine.  Full movie rips are imported as individual files not as a "movie" so all images, files, etc a single movie is hundreds of files in the file list and the Movie browse section is the same mess of individual files listed.

Recently tested again on a latest release on Linux Mint and same problem still exists.
