I have just installed MC26. I followed the quick install instructions, which worked fine. I had backed up my MC25 library and successfully restored it to MC26. Master licence installed by double clicking on the mjr file, saved in my roils desktop.
I noticed that thumbnails which were 100% built in MC25 are at 1% in MC26, so apparently restoring a library doesn’t include thumbnails.
Is there a file, I have looked but didn’t see one in Linux, that can be copied over, or is it best to do it the slower way by running tools/options/build thumbnails?
Also I am curious as to why thumbnails is not part of the backup library process.
Well it took only 30minutes to build the thumbnails so not a big deal for me.
