Bonjour
 >:(

Merci

When playing one of the bad MP3s, what does the MC Audio Path show? Is it processing the audio correctly?

Describe your system: PC, DAC, Amplifier, etc. What Audio Device are you using in MC? Are you using ASIO, WASAPI, Direct Sound?

Upload one of the bad files somewhere and share a link to it, so we can download it and see if it plays for us.

périphérique audio:
TXNR3007-1 (NVIDIA HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO) [wasapi]

The Network Media Player would be working using DLNA, so MC just sends the file to it without processing the audio. Sure, it may convert it if you have the DLNA settings to do so, and you can add DSP to DLNA if you are converting the file. But basically the file is just sent to the Network Media Player which then plays it. That is why it plays without a problem.

I was referring to the MC Audio Path, not the path to the file. If you are using Google Translate, as I am, then maybe the translations weren't very good. See the attached image for what I mean.

If you look at that MC Audio Path while trying to play a file to the ONKYO TX-NR3007 via HDMI, you should see any DSP applied, including volume changes. Perhaps something in the MC Audio Path is muted when playing to the MC Audio Device: "TXNR3007-1 (NVIDIA HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO) [wasapi]". That would explain the minute count increasing as expected, but no sound being played. If the MC Audio Path shows that MC is playing something.

Also note in the image, marked in green, is the Spectrum Analyzer. If that is moving MC is playing audio to the Output Device, so if you can't hear it then the problem is outside MC.

If the time count advances, but the Spectrum Analyzer doesn't move:
Then check Volume Mode. Has it been set to Disabled? "Options > Audio > Volume > Volume Mode".
Is MC simply muted? Ctrl+m will unmute it if so.

If the time count advances, but the Spectrum Analyzer does move:
Has the Volume Mode been set to System Volume, and the PC System Volume muted?
Actually even with MC using Internal Volume, muting the Windows Volume Control can mute output, depending on devices used. So is Windows Volume muted?
Check the HDMI cable connection.
The source selection on the TXNR3007-1, is it set to the HDMI input that MC is connected to?
Is that input on the TXNR3007-1 muted?

Investigate all the above.

Bonjour

That is a very strange situation. I wouldn't have expected turning off Clipping Protection during playback to even affect the current playing track. But I guess it does. I don't have a clipping file to test.

I noticed that you have applied DSP in the Equaliser and Convolution. As these files play correctly elsewhere, I'm wondering if something has gone wrong with those settings? Particularly Convolution, if the source file has been corrupted.

Do the files play correctly if you turn off the Equaliser and/or Convolution?

Also, have you re-analysed these files recently, with Audio Analysis?
What do the R128 and Replay Gain tags show for the files? See image for example.

Bonjour
