I gave it a try few months ago using the free trial.
It was the BIGGEST s... t i never got from the web.
Now ,if you say it is good ,must be they improved the program.
I have 3 registered Ashampoo programs  and really like them,but this one was a TOTAL DISASTER

so maybe it has improved.

I am testing it out still but it seems to work good.

Got the trial ersion.
And yes the one i spoke about was 1 -still in sale at $4-
Look quitte good and working very well.
I do miss indication where the problem is as in MP3Utility.

And i still trying to find out how to repare and get the new file at the place of the old one and ,of cause ,deleting the old one.

but it is not clear in options.

If you set to check frame structures ,the program tells you all the problems in the songs.
Hard to compare with the others because the free version check only random  70 % of the songs you put in the project.
But this ,with the other fonctions look like a nice and cheap program

ok, i did figure that out after i looked at it again.

the default should be the last 1 second should not be checked bucause the last frame may normaly have problems.

I just bought it this morning, The Other thing that also works good is the "DSP Tests" "Music Ends Suddenly"

I checked the Mp3s It Said "Ended Sudenly" and it did so if you were using P2P software or just checking your own music this would come in handy to see if the file was whole.

It is missing "Play", "Delete" And Maybe "Move" Bad Files.

Will buy the Ashampoo as well ., i really like the program

Now i want to try they 'burn a data' cd to see if it really supports long file names.
If yes , i will buy it also.

well i am having some problems with it.

after a scan the program will vanish.

it seems it only happens to some mp3's within the scan

wonder what the chances are that those same mp3's might also cause the "audio analysis" memory leak problem that's plaguing MC atm?

Cannot be.
I have the same problem analysing ONLY ogg or APE

Are you sue you have only mp3?

The Ashampoo version 1 did the same - not telling you where the problem is-
I found out that i had some Windows format in my mp3.
And it was it who makes the problem

I load in 1 mp3 test it, the program vanishes

Just tested around 3000 songs - all mp3 ,i'am sure of it- and it was fine.
But now i cannot set the program to check a full folder - like folder Emusic with artist - album folders inside.
And the day you posted about the program , i did it .
Iam sure of it.
Anyway i still plan to buy it.
Maybe the fact that it would be the 4th program i buy from them wil give me fast answer concerning the bugs...
