I noticed that when right-clicking the play button in the latest MC26 the submenu is positioned way further below on the screen (See screenshot behind link below).

I'm using a Macbook Pro (mid-2015) with a 4K monitor connected to it via Display Port.
The glitch made me think of another bug that I reported where the mini player was jumping all over the screen when moved to the upper poart of the screen. There was also a distance between elements (my mouse and the player window)

Under View > Size, what size are you using? Also, I can't easily tell, but are you using retina mode too?

Hi Awome Donkey ;-) 100% and Retina mode.
