I have an SBT with ethernet connection to the router. I have downloaded the enhanced audio plug in that supposedly provides 24/192 capability to the SBT.

Tried various DSP settings with MC many gave various error messages such as..

DSP studio is only available for local zones.
There was a problem controlling the selected DLNA device.
Eventually i was able to connect and play the SBT, DSP shows 16/44, #4 attached.
SBT shows MP3 File being played, #5 attached.

I tried iPeng operating LMS and the result shows 16/44 at the SBT, #6 and 7 attached.

I have been through the various wiki and forum threads but nothing appears clear to me on how to solve the SBT connection issue. I really was hoping to use MC to control SBT with the 24/192 option as my main streaming source to my DAC.

Any advice on how to correctly connect to the SBT would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Trun,
By sending your audio over the network to your SBT you are using MC's DLNA features.
These can be tweaked by going to Tools>Options>Media Network>Add or Configure DLNA Serves...
Add or Highlight the server you want to configure in the upper box and change the settings in the lower box.
I would suggest changing Audio>Mode to "Original" as it sounds like you have it configured to "Specified output format" and "mp3"
If the SBT supports the format your music is stored in then this should give you the best sound quality.

If Original doesn’t work, then the best other setting is L16 PCM No Header.

Many thanks indeed to AndrewFG and thecrow. I somehow had used the suspected settings.

Both suggestions get wma lossless signal to the SBT.

Now to investigate DSP and Parametric EQ with the SBT......
