InCD causes crash
« on: January 17, 2003, 02:22:43 pm »

Hay lot,
I have :
Media Jukebox PLUS 8.0.394
Install Path: g:\Program Files\Media Jukebox\

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 1817 MHz MMX
Memory: Total - 523 MB, Free - 167 MB
OS: Microsoft Windows 2000  Workstation 5.0 Service Pack 3 (Build 2195)

Internet Explorer: 5.50.4807.2300
ComCtl32.dll: 5.50.4807.2300
Shlwapi.dll: 5.50.4807.2300
Shell32.dll: 5.00.3502.6144
wnaspi32.dll: Internal ASPI Layer

I am running the latest InCD by the Nero buring rom, ver 3.51.91.
InCD is a UDF writer, so I can use a CDRW as a big floppy.
When I run MJB I get a freeze when I open the handheld to connect to the rio, and my crash if I eject the CDRW.

Yes it may cause a problem.

this problem was noted before and Nero did somthing to fix it once but since you have the latest version not sure what to tell you but You may need to deactivate it when running MJ\MC

I once posted on this issue.
I have encountered it also with direct-cd (the other UDF packet writer).
Can someone confirm that direct-CD causes the same crash with MJB?

Yes

but that problem also effects some other players

there could also be another problem with Windows XP, and it has buillt in Burning software that sometimes will effect other players\burners to include MJ\MC

My feels are that the programs are using and tieing up some of the DLL's the MJ\MC May be trying to use also and this times will Crash a System (Normaly Non Windows XP)

thats just a guess, BTW

I don't use eather program any more and have no problems.
