OT- to MachineHead
« on: April 10, 2003, 06:16:21 am »

Will get next week the Lehavot album.
So i want to start to rip my IsraHell cds to make you some mp3 cds.
The problem is with tags.
Many of them are in hebrew- not sure you cdplayer-car woud like them.
I do not fell like to translate it and type-- anyway names of the songs are as much as stupid than the US bands--

I think to name songs something as A1 A2 or a1 a2
What is the best concerning your player ?

If you are mad about some records ,in this case i would make another cd with proper tags.

PS : waiting for the new Betzefer out.,, i will ask them for a copie before release next week at the Lehavot party

Lehavoth will sound best on a red CD. This is true for any high energy genre.

Zev,

I haven't heard any of their tunes. I had hit ArtistDirect and did a search...which came back with "a Black-Metal band from Israel".

I'm serious about the color. I have a post in HA about CD color and it's effect on genre's. Mach has read it, so he knows where I'm coming from.

Black metal ....more of extreme brutal hardcore metal..
If you are curious ,you can listen 2 songs here
http://www.lehavoth.com/index1.html

Concerning colors:
I believe you. And i am quite sure that this is logic. I would not have the same stereo system if listening to only Jazz or Classical Music.
And i do think it is the same with  blank cds.
It is just i never saw one ,heard about it.- red i mean-
I was still at the basic 3 colors : silver ,gold and blue.
I have 2 cd/cdmp3 discmans , and each of them read different colors.

PS: if you are a MetalHead i would be very please to burn a copy for you--BUT ,not OGG , just Lame 192 VRB MP3 ,because mister MachineHead has a cd car player

Zev,

Thanks! I'll checkout the tunes in your link. Not really into metal...but there are exceptions (Judas Priest, a few Metallica's & Scorpion's, Anne Murray). And of course, the godfathers of rock...Led Zeppelin (classified as metal by some...but I don't agree...they're MUCH more diverse than that).

Here's the HA link to color CD's if your interested.

zevele-

Any color is fine. Tags are unimportant. If I really like what I hear, I can bug you for them in email later.

I'm gonna guess that this party will be pretty good. If you get a chance, tell whoever you see that they have at least one fan in the US! In fact, I just damaged my head again earlier this week on the way to work.

Funny- I'd bet I'm the only guy in MN to be cranking out death - black metal at 4:30 in the morning on the way to work.  ;D

Xenno, you sir, are a card.  ;) heh heh

Not at 4:30
But when working i got at 5 or 6 in the morning Slayer live or other sweats like it from my partners.
At this time i was really not in metal ...you can imagine..
Today ,it is me who kill them ,Slayer is just kind of Heavy metal.
Lehavot, Nil, and some others are much more serious stuff.
In fact ,unlike punk ,there is not that much IsraelHell cds.
For most of them i got the tags - around 25 cds-.
I have only around 10 without tags infos.

With Lehavot ,there is Herzog and the fantastic slow core, mega  drone doom harcore  Rabies Caste.

They last show was one of the best i saw in my life.
A lot of noise/feedback , arrogance and attitude.
They have 2 sites if you want to listen to them- anyway ,of cause you will get they 2 cds on the cd.
And both of they albums are on Emusic - with a very bad sound quality i have to say-

I ripped the 25 cds with tags this evening..if i am not lazy ,you may get the rigth soundtrack to slaughter the  lamb for easter....
