media center 29 quit unexpectedly
« on: March 12, 2022, 10:15:36 am »

I realize this is for bugs only so I apologize if this isn't a qualified bug. I'm a computer moron. I have Mac Monterey 12.2.1.
I purchased 29 and got an email that it was available so I downloaded it. It won't open and gives the above message. Being a computer moron, I have clicked on it 50 times and got the message 50 times. Thank you for your kindly help in this matter.

If you downloaded the disk image (.dmg) then double-click that and drag the MC29 icon over the Application folder icon until a green + appears. Then release the mouse button. That should copy the MC29 app into your Application folder from where you should be able to open MC29. Make sure previous versions are not running and that you made a library backup from your previous version (in case you had one). With that you can get back to "normal" on MC29 pretty quickly.

Please try the latest build as well (look at the top post in this board).
We found an issue with it crashing on start with new versions run for the first time.
