Warning message when burning CDs.
« on: January 12, 2003, 02:35:02 pm »

I'm getting the following message when trying to burn a CD.

"There is not enough free disk spce to do the conversions prior to burning.  Your temp music disk has 222593024 bytes free and you need 786626000 bytes to convert all tracks.  Either free up disk space or change your temp music directory to a disk with more space."

I have checked my C:\music\temp file and it appears to be empty.  What do I need to do?

Your hard drive may not have enough space.  It needs about 800MB free.  You can change the temp folder to another drive if you have one that has space.

My hard drive definitely has more than enough free space.  It seems to be a problem with my software.  Everything has been working well with it until I changed my CD length from 74 minutes to 80 minutes.  That's when I started getting the warning message.  Could be a coincidence for all I know.  I've tried going back to the 74 minute CD setting but it still doesn't work.

Double check where MJ thinks it should be storing the temp files.  It may be a drive that is full.
