Acourate / JRiver convolution delay question
« on: July 18, 2022, 10:21:25 pm »

New tri-amp speakers which adds delay to the audio.  I believe it was mentioned somewhere that newer versions of JRiver have a "magic button" that can compensate audio lagging video.  Is this true or do I need to bite the bullet and change filter types?

(Still running V22 from long ago...have a license for V29 but haven't actually upgraded yet.)

Thanks,
Paul

MC has always delayed video it is playing to stay in sync with audio, even in mc22 it was doing this

Yes I know about that, but it has limits.

I am asking if there is additional functionality in later versions.

I remember getting close to a delay limit with a 15 channel system.  Don't remember what caused it.

Okay on no change since V22...guess I gotta change filter types.
