Do you mean the keypad on Media Center window or the NumPad on keyboard?

Ooh, numpad on the keyboard would be sweet.   :D

Also, would be nice to be able to use my Streamzap remote to control channels without having to use Girder.  Girder makes everything much more complicated; my Streamzap already works with MC for play/pause and some other features... being able to key in channel numbers would be phat.

I did implement a mechanism for entering channels from keyboard. It worked well for MJ8. But there is a conflict with other keyboard functions in MC9, so it will not work when you play TV in an internal window in MC Mega-Me mode. We will have to resolve this later. But for now, it still should work when you play TV in fullscreen mode or in windowed mode.

Here is how:

Hold down CTRL key and then press NumPad keys in succession, keeping CTRL key down until you finish the numbers. For example, holding down CTRL and pressing 4 and then 5 on NumPad, and then releasing CTRL gives you channel 45.

Thanks I will try when I get home.

Also I have 2 other issues that have come up.
1. My CDDB or Yadb do work when I insert CD.

2. I cannot cet music to transfer from MC( to my Nomad3.

What do need to do? Also if this helps I am running
Windows media 9 & Creatives Play Ctr.  Now I know I need to pick certain file type to associate to each program but I like certain featues on each so I would like to keep each. Which files should I associate? Or Do I need to stick with 1 player?

You may want to start a new thread on these topics, to ensure the right persons would read and answer them.

It would be nice to not have the TV restart when selecting the channel from the MC keypad or doubleclicking on the MC channel listings. Surely the code could be corrected so it only starts the TV software if it is not currently running. It is not a mojor problem just a little slower than it needs to be.

Also when using the arrow buttons under the TV display instead of stopping at the last channel why not just go to the first channel? If my last channel is 67 and I click the arrow again I would like it to go to channel 2, my first available channel.

The channel switching problem will be fixed in the next couple of builds.

I agree on cycling back to the top.  It should get done, too.
