DNLA format support
« on: February 28, 2023, 12:25:11 pm »

Can someone confirm that DLNA does not support FLAC? So, even if I'm using MC to send flac files to a DLNA client, those files are converted to mp3 first? Thanks.

With DLNA, you can set the conversion or not that you want from the server,  It's in MC under Media Network.

FLAC can be supported if the device plays it.

Thanks for the quick response. Glad I don't have to rearrange the house now.

I routinely play 96/24 FLAC files via DLNA to the DVD player's DLNA client.

Yup, it works.  :)
