Hi,

Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.4
JRiver Build 30.0.51

Started playing with Raspberry PI again.  New build with 64bit PI OS and installed JRiver using installJRMC

Having issues playing MKV files that are installed on a portable USB drive (which were copied across on a Windows 10 Machine).  As soon as I select the file for play the application closes.  The same file plays OK after changing the renderer from JRVR to Legacy OpenGL.  Have tried with Hardware acceleration enabled and disabled

It's been a very long time since I've configured JRiver from scratch. Hoping someone can assist with correct settings or advice to address.  Log file attached

Do any videos work for you?

No - but I've only tried a couple of MKVs, one recently done and one that I've had for several years

I'll check a few more in the next couple of days

tried MKVs with VC-1, MPEG2 and h264 encoding and none worked on the PI, but all worked on Windows 10

Will look for non-MKV content and update when tested

Would you try build 67 and see if it's the same?

Tried MTS file (generated from Sony HandyCam) and it failed as well

updated to 30.0.67.  No change in behavior.  Not working with JRVR, but is working with Legacy OpenGL

This issue should be resolved in the next build (not in 72, but the next one after). Took us a while to fully diagnose, but we got there!
