Which MCWS command will start video playback *and* ensure the display is active?

where "and the display is active" means

* video is playing
* it's in fullscreen
* Playback/Info accurately reports the playing status and filekey

it's the last point in particular that seems unreliable, it might just be v slow to update (seconds)? if so, what is the most immediately accurate way to know exactly what is playing?
