Server crash
« on: July 13, 2023, 09:36:51 pm »

I accepted the update to 31.0.32 (64-bit) on the server and two clients. Playing music on either client crashed the server a minute or two into playback. I configured MC to disable automatic updates and then restored 31.0.17 on the server. I left both clients at 31.0.32. I can once again play music on a client without having the server crash.

Does MC disappear  or just become unresponsive?

In my case MC was disappearing. You can move my issue to a new thread if you'd prefer.

Windows Defender, MC-related exclusions applied but I will check again.

If you can get a crash dump using Logging, please share.  The wiki has more information on how to get one.  Thanks.

I've updated again and I'm unable to reproduce the problem. After updating I did notice that screen refreshing was really slow for a while, so it's possible that MC was doing some background work that overwhelmed my 2014 NUC.
