Getting sound from a black magic intensity pro 4k
« on: Today at 12:43:38 am »

I am  trying to retard the video from an apple tv  to deal with the audio convolution filters  delay of about 600 ms
I am passing apple tv through  the black magic card and using wirecast to delay the video.
However I can't get the blackmagic to play audio directly through JRiver
When I go to open live and configure the asio line in to black magic audio it shows playback problem

I can get wirecast to connect to jriver and play sound bit only after it has been delayed the same as the video
Appreciate any help

Did you try JRiver's VideoClock?

videoclock isn't relevant here

I take it you've tried to use jriver television support for that device and that doesn't work either?

does blackmagic provide an asio output device? I wasn't aware of it having such capability so typically you'd either use some asio bridge (like VB Audio Matrix) or use the jriver wdm driver to loop audio back into jriver

I have to say I'm going to be pretty surprised if you can get that synced reliably but good work if you do!

I hadn't tried television as I am sending video out via wirecast through black magic but I can try it

I can get sound via wirecast but the video delay I need doesn't  work .. I can't get any sound out of OBS either
I was  wondering if neither stripped out the apple coding

I can try an intermediary program  and see how that goes
Thanks for your advice
