file names too long media center 31

files with too long of file names do not import aside from shortening the file is there a work around? currently i have 75 files that will not import and not the time to shorten individually all of them. couldn't find media center 31 forum

Try Options/General/Advanced/tick Support extra long filenames.

You should also configure Windows to better support path lengths over 260 characters.

It's a registry setting or group policy setting to change that.
