new soud card I just purchased Sound Blaster Audigy 2 platum.

What drivers to use how to set it up for maxium benifit

do you hate it or like it.

I've got one and it's been working great (on an Intel system, can't speak to AMD) using the drivers right from the CD.  I don't use any of the crap that came with the card (EAX, MediaSource, etc, etc.).

The only advice I've got is to put the card in a slot that doesn't share an IRQ with another device.  

Once it's installed, use the "Direct Sound" device in MC9.
