It will in the next build.  I have corrected the code to look for .aif and .aiff files. Before I was only checking for .aif

Thanks Steve.  Just to clarify, I was referring to the audible.com (books) files.  I think they are aif or aiff, but may be aa.  Someone over at the lounge asked the question.

FYI:
AIF, AIFF, and AIFC are Audio Interchange File Format, developed by Apple. I didn't know that Audible.com had their own format. They should just use Speex

So, will the Ipod plugin support audible .aa files?  If so, does it in the 9.0.89 release?  What is the first release number that will support it?  (The answer above states the "next" release, but it wasn't clear to a newbie like me what the current release was at the time of the statement.)

And a related question... if MC won't support .aa files, is there a way that I can make Ephpod and MC work together so I can use Ephpod just for .aa files?  Ephpod doesn't seem to recognize my Ipod after I've formatted it for MC.  I fear they are simply incompatible... am I right?

I do not think files with an .aa extension are supported in the current Plug-in build. I can correct this next week. The MC version is irrelevant to this issue.

I think you can switch between Ephpod and MC without trouble. The formats appear compatible although I haven't tested this for a little while. I can retest on Monday.

Yes, please I vote for this, too! (Audible.com files). MC 9 actually does support this -- except that they are recognized as Videos. But when you click on them, they play with a little audible.com image and the sound in the background. But if they transfer to the iPod, they don't get on a list and can't be accessed.
