Recently Imported Date Format
« on: November 23, 2002, 07:45:08 am »

What is the secret to the date format in MJ9?   ?

If I wished to see all imports within say the last 2 hours how would I do that?

Also, the "Recently Imported" playlist is now empty even after a recent import.  Is this normal?

Thanks,
Richard

It's "minutes".

dateimported=<=120

The "=<=" isn't a typo.

The standalone Recently Imported playlist is a leftover from V8.   The smartlists took over that functionality in V9.

Can we get the old Recently Imported playlist functionality back (v8 style)?  The Smartlist way is unfriendly for sorting and using Update Order to keep the sort order.  I could explain why I liked the old method in more detail, but I'll refrain (for now).  But, basically, I liked having it as a simple playlist that I could manualy sort, manage and delete tracks from like anything other 'simple' playlist.  Smartlist as useful, but their 'dynamic' nature makes them hard to use as a 'simple' playlist.

Thanks Remy.  I can handle the manual entry now.  But what about the wizard date list?  How does that work?  When I try checking any of the boxes I get no files listed.

Still scratching my head,
Richard

By the way, I'm all for the versatility this offers but occasionally it's nice to have simple too.  I agree with Z.
