I think that if JRiver decides to translate MJ in different languages they will need volunteers.
I guess they'll find some anyway at least for portuguese and french ;)

The best way to localize a software is to set up some sort of language pack or library.
But this has to be designed from the ground up and I don't know if this is at the top of
JRiver's list.

In the meantime don't foget MJ speaks the universal language : Music !

I have a million posts about it

To have the help files in other languages is a good start.
And ,in my opinion , enougth.
Anyone rip ,burn ,normalize. In french there is allways skin in english in middle of french.
I do not have any programs in french, but i saw it.
In WinAmp,you have help files in many languages.

WinAmp being what is it ,you even have many versions of help files in the same language. There more than one french and hebrew  version of help files.
This has to be 'clean out' by JRiver an to have only one version.

But ,as Jimmy Cliff sings 'many JRiver to cross...... and..."

time to go to sleep..see you friday...going to Haifa for few days

Still here .Haifa next week

You mean a plugin giving automatic translation?
Or you mean that people like you and me wrote a portugaise, french version.
I remember that i saw 2 or 3 french versions of help and 2 in hebrew.
I mean to do the same with MJ .  To keep the interface as it is now,in english and to be able to download the help files in german, spanih, portuguese, french or any other languages.

WinAmp is a player ,you cannot compare it to a jukebox

Maybe a plugin don't be a bad ideia but don't know if is possible, it's a lot of work to put that in order, or like other jukeboxes ( don't give the name because i don't like they  ;D ) that give you the possibility of choose btw several downloads off full software already translated not only the help files but also the entired program

My french is very good -i was in classic -
If i do not have to write it,my english is  really fair
and my hebrew is.........fair speaking
9 years old kid reading level
7\8 years old kid writing level.

Many time i speak a kind of mayonnaise, using  2 or 3 languages in the same conversation when not in the same sentence......

I never think in french before using english or hebrew.
And i think in ever language, depending about who or what i am thinking.
The same i dream in different  language, depending of the dream.

As a result my french ,who was really exellent, is now no more than good.

parceque i mix safot
