displayed columns according view scheme
« on: September 30, 2002, 01:13:33 pm »

It would be nice if MJ would let to set a specific set of columns to display for a given view scheme (else the default one could apply). The emailer The Bat offers that and it is very useful to optimize the display (the screen is never too large !).

Agreed. I think this is essential for images as there are a few standard fields that are irrelevant to any image view scheme, eg replay gain, lyrics.

Hopefully we will see this feature as v9 develops.

Would be really cool, don't have to think of an emailer at all, before MJ I used Siren Jukebox, this one offers different content-view for every sheme. Very usefull!!

Thanks

I agree to different view modes.
Preferably also remembers different viewing modes, like for images I'd want thumbnails, for music details.

Yes yes yes...please let MJ remember the view settings! I know you know I've been asking for this since MJ8 was in beta :) ...and don't forget to remember each views field sort order! It would save me approx. 200 clicks a day!

Happy programming,
/Martin
