I will just keep my Rhapsody and stream it whenever I wish to play anything. There's really no difference where I keep the songs. They're easily accessible. And I don't have to take up MY valuable hard drive space when I can just keep it on THEIR server.
HERE YOU GET A POINT-and a very important one-
It is also what i did with Mp3.com and 'Mymp3'.
I have few thousands songs in it.With a hundred playlists.
As you say ,no need to use space on your hard drive.
But at the end of the month,they change and fo free artists will get only room for 3 songs.
So now i'am downloading like a mad.
With Rapshody it was different ,i know i had it for only 7 days, so i riped a lot.
TotalRecorder was not working with Raphody-but my computer was just in a poor shape that it can be a problem on my side-
I used PowerAmp recorder because it has a fonction where you can put time of the songs and it stops the song at this time and start the next ,and so on.
Now you have this fonction with MC9 as well. The downside is that you need to set volume yourself.
At the start it can be a pain in the ...
In one of my posts ,there is tips about it.
The more you use it ,the less time you need to set it.
And you get a sound ready to listen ,the same than the stream.
Better to rip in the format of the stream ,WMA 128 in this case [ if i remember correctly ].
I tested to rip to wma 128 and mp3 192 and did not see any differences ,so i did it in 192 kps.
