Should promising to always wear a crash helmet reduce your life and health insurance premiums?

Yes, that seems like common sense.

I initially voted yes but would like to change that to a no. I've found that for dangerous pursuits like picking apples, playing with barn swallows, butting sheep, or riding cycles, a big afro seems to offer all the protection of a helmet (with none of the disadvantages). So I would rather see a "have afro" check-off box on insurance applications, with the same premium reduction a helmet would give you.

Reminds me of the Jerry Seinfeld bit.
He mentions how we (as humans) decide to wear helmets
instead of realizing we should stop the behavior which
REQUIRES helmets!  I wish I had better delivery but that's the idea.
