Just a quick note.  About a week ago during a regular upgrade check MC was upgraded to a significant version change.  Usually change is bad.  This case it rocks.

Whom ever did the UI design should get a nice pat on the back.  At first I was, "oh great now I have to learn something else."  It is the best UI change that I have seen you do to date.  Congrats!

I have a couple of wish list items and/or bugs to report:
1)  Last night I was ripping quite a few cds.  I ran into this bug that happened inconsistantly but it was about every 3-6 cds.  When you first enter a cd MC pops up a checking device box then switches to a YADB box.  Then the normal process would be for the CD contents to show up in MC.  In this weirdness the YADB box never left.  Instead the checking device box would pop back up again.  Then go away then come back up over the YADB box again.  It was a loop forever, there was no use in clicking the cancel button as it did not stop anything.  If I closed MC then reopened the cd contents would show up and the looping was not present anymore.  This happened about 20-25 times last night.  Not sure if it is a bug or an environment thing on my machine.  If you would like particulars about my machine just email me.

2) The new Action window is good.  It would be nice to be able to add things to it.  I kept trying to figure out a way that I could add the Rip CD button in there.  It was then that I figured out that it was on the tool bar was below the Action Window.  I had not seen it until then even after looking for it.  So my suggestion is to give us users the ability to add and delete items from the Action Window.

3) The Add View Schema has changed for what seens like the worse.  My old schema are not there anymore - it would have been nice for them to stay.  I had things like "Genre/Artist/Album", "Custom1/Artist/album", (custom1 is where I store gender), etc...  I can't get these to work now.  My next stop is your help file, so no action or issue yet.  I just wanted to let you know it is confusing now.  It will probably turn out to be better, just right now I am fighting with it.

4) Let me know if I am missing something here.  I have tried to figure out how to save streaming audio addresses in the MC library.  What I have done is goto FILE then open URL.  Enter the streaming audio's address and it plays.  While playing I save it to a playlist called "Streaming Audio".  Now when I do this and come back a few days later the playlist is empty.  I have not figured out if there is a pattern here.  I THINK that I have come back to the playlist and played the streaming audio successfully but ever since I noticed that it is blanking out my streaming playlist I have not been successful in getting them to stay in the library.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is this a bug?

Hi James.
Thanks for the kind words.

1.  Don't know, but you might try the latest build, available at the top of this board.

2.  We expect to develop the Action Window further, but it won't happen in 9.1.  Rip CD will definitely be added.

3.  Lost view schemes are a result of the changes we've made.  Sorry.  If you need info on this, it might be best to start a new thread with a subject that describes the question.

4.  I think that you can right click on the link in playing now and save it to a playlist.  Someone else may be able to provide a better answer.

Not sure if this is the answer but try right clicking on your streaming audio file and chosing 'import' if it's there.

MC might just not be adding it to your library.

Give it a shot and see if that works.

Just so those that read this know..  I was being thick.  The Schemes are easy to create...
