Duplicate Songs
« on: December 16, 2002, 01:46:23 am »

I am trying to burn a CD (Both Mp3 or Audio), using the burn facilities within Media Jukebox 8, and I want to have the same song repeated a number of times throughout the CD. I can't seem to get this to happen....is this possible with media Jukbox? And if so ....how ?....and if not...why not >:(?

I don't see why you can't just add the sone many times to a Audio CD.

You can do it with an data CD IF your copies of the original MP3 have different filenames, such as....

Bill Clinton & the Tipperellos - Intern Go Down.mp3
Bill Clinton & the Tipperellos - Intern Go Down - 2.mp3
.....
.....

For audio CD's, just add the tune to a playlist a few times, rearrange to your liking, and then select Tools>Write (burn) CD.

Yes...I know I could just rename the file to a different name, but that could mean up to 8 times per song, and as half the idea of a Media Jukebox is to ensure you don't have multiples of the one file floating around the HD, this is actually rather painful.

Audio format...it lists them but then at burn time, removes the dups!

I gather then from the comments it can't be done just with a drag'n'drop scenerio. Pity.

Thanks people.
