I can't see how to customize the media center view to show the entire song title (name).  Its there, and shows up when you single click in the form of a popup, but I'd like to have it all on the basic view.  I've got a big monitor with high res and lots of screen space.  I don't see any way to do this however - am I missing something?

keithdolson, can you be more specific as to where in Media Centre you are viewing the song title.  It's displayed in many places such as:

The action window (drag splitter bar on the right)
The main file list (Drag columns to desired size)
The player bar at the top (Right click> customise)
Track info templates
Hairstyle

Sure, I'm talking about the main file list.  You can drag the column definition bars, or set them to auto (very nice feature), but with long song names there is truncation, no matter how wide you make the column.  The little pop-up reveals the full song name when you put the curser on the item, so the data is there, I just can't find a way to customize the view to show 50 or 60 or 80 characters.

You can drag the column definition bars...

That's how you customise the view.  Then Right click the column header and save the changes.

No, JLee, he's saying that he knows to drag that column headers wider to try and show the full song title, but even when he does that, the song title is still truncated even though there is plenty of space in the column to display the view.  He verified this by hovering the mouse arrow over the song so that the tooltip displayed and showed that in fact the song did have its full title and was not, in reality, truncated.

I would guess that 1. the field, despite it's column width, has some character limit set somewhere (probably not) or maybe 2. the main pane is showing the ID3v1 tag info, and the tooltip is displaying the ID3v2 tag info.  I know that the field length for fields in the ID3v1 tag was much smaller than in version 2, so maybe that's it?  I haven't ever seen this, I have some songs with some really long track names, so I'm really not sure...

Mayeb check and see if the tracks have both version 1 and version 2 tags and remove the version 1 tag info and see if that helps?...

I discovered that the song name was never brought in past a certain number of characters.  The complete name I was seeing was in the file name, which retained the correct data.  So I'm using the library manager to update song names from file names.

Some albums did not come in completely either, and some genre information failed to load, so I've got some serious fixing to do.  Maybe there's a problem with the import procedure (I had been using Real Jukebox).
