I posted recently about the fact the CDs burned on my Plexwriter 48/24/48A with any combination of settings would not play well in my audio devices, especially my car stereo.  I was going to make Plextor replace the drive but I've discovered an alternative solution.

The solution requires one part dark Chicago street and one part lucky hook-up at the Crobar and one part State Farm insurance.  Now granted you may have to replace your drivers side window and part of the dashboard but my check from Statefarm bought a pretty nice Alpine replacement that plays Plextor CDs perfectly.
