Is there a plugin that lets me listen to MP3 Pro tracks? They are now playd as very bad quality and low bitrate regular MP3s. Thanks a lot in advance, and sorry if this is something I should know. I tried to search, but did not find anything about it.

Thanks for the clarification! The reason I didn't find it was probably that I searched for it in two words, not in one (MP3Pro). I'll just re-encode the files. MP3 Pro really is a  format arriving to late for it's own usefulness. Three years ago it would have been valuable since storage space was a lot more expensive then. Now you can get a 120 gig for around 100 bucks, so who cares, right?
