MC9 removing art from tags?
« on: December 19, 2003, 06:07:40 pm »

I edit my tags and store cover art inside the file tags before importing mp3s into MC9 (I'm used to using my old tag editor).  MC9 recognized the cover art (it displays it in playing now, for example) but it appears to strip it out of the tags and store it somewhere else.  I can get it back in the tags by highlighting the files and selecting Image->Store files in tags if possible.

How do I stop MC9 from taking the images out of the tags in the first place (if it is, and if it isn't, what's going on?)

Thanks

Simple, don't turn that option off (Store files in tags if possible)

Thanks, but where do I toggle that option?

One complaint I have about MC9 is that option settings seem to be scattered in several different sub menus.  Why not have everything under the toolbar option pulldown?

OOPs, never mind, just found where to set it globally.  Man this program has a lot of stuff in it.  Is there a downloadable manual that I can just read cover to cover?
