Upgrade to 10 with V9.1 license - cost on web $39 ?
« on: December 29, 2003, 01:43:33 am »

I'm trying to upgrade from 9.1 to 10. Clicking on Help>Buy in MC 10 takes me to a web page offering MC 10 for $39.98.

I have a full version 9 licence.

I've installed a few of the MC10 betas and thought that my V9 details may have got deleted from my machine - so I reinstalled V9.1.   No problems - version was showing as registered.

Then reinstalled 10.0.024 over 9.  Clicked on buy link again but still the full price.

Didn't make any difference whether IE or My IE2 was set as default browser.

How do I get the $10 upgrade price?

I had the same trouble (see this thread).

What worked for me was trying to restore my v9 licence into my v10 install - I then got pointed to the $10 price on the buy web page. Beyond that I think you need help from JRiver direct.

Thanks Lee

That worked.

I've never found it so difficult to buy something I wanted :(
