I'm desperate for a video player that has video/audio crossfades.  Is there any chance this will be implemented?

Has anyone heard of a software video player that includes this functionality (free or otherwise).

I know it can be done - check out  http://www.tricerasoft.com/swiftelite.html

Seems pretty good if a little over complex (targetted at pro DJ's).  But I am loathe to pay $350 just so I can play my music promo's at gigs with a nice crossfade (as opposed to MC's stop, few second pause, start functionality)

Any help would be appreciated.
