exporting playlists
« on: February 10, 2004, 02:28:18 pm »

media jukebox used to allow me to export a list of song names to a html file, does anyone know how to do this in media center?

When i try to export to xml, a lot of extraneous info comes across with it. Any idea on how to trim this down, and just get album names?

For HTML, use Included Fields>Only Visible Fields. Of course, you'll have to set up your view scheme (visible columns) appropriately.

The Scott's (scott_r & sraymond) have done some interesting things that I believe are related to this. Do a forum search on XML.

another way i came up with was to set up a new playlist and include all media in it. then export that playlist individually into html.

basically similar to the way you suggested,

thanks
